Adorei estar aí, vou recomendar a toda gente que eu conheco e se voltar a Salvador ( o que espero que aconteca ) só há um lugar possível para mim que é a Ambar pousada. My name is Camila Aloi, from Brasil/Sao Paulo, I have been there during almost a week in march 2005, and I loved it. I felt like home, they are wonderful, help you about everything you need, they are such a nice and "family" people like I never met in a "Pousada" before.
I lost my plane to São Paulo and they where there for me when I came back from the airport. I went to Boipeba and left all my luggage there with them, they care about the travelers, we don''t feel like simple "guests", we feel like we have friends there, they know about people, they know about enjoying life ( = vacation!!) and they know what we want when we are on holidays; I think that''s why a lot of us stay longer that we had planned to!!
The food is great and the owner, when I was there, cooked a very, but very good bread for us.
The girls who work in the front desk are very patient and seem to love what they do.
I really recommend Ambar Pousada!! I wish I could be there some other time!! Now it is hard for me since I am leaving in Germany now!!!
